Comment posted December 2009. The largest land price gains show up at the end of each cycle. A current pause in the gains is a reasonable expectation for Australia in general. To me, the upward march of Australia’s land value does not look sustainable into 2010, 2011 and 2012, though this does not foeecast a collapse. Australia appears to have weathered the worst of the GFC, but it remains a shame
